I sooo LOVE this series. This is the very first VCD & DVD collection (anime) I have bought. The story of love, friendship, loyalty and even the betrayal are all in good taste & it’s action packed with humor to boot.

She is pretty much like Miaka, except with the love of Tamahome, Miaka and Tamahome can cross the world inside the book. However, as Miaka and others decided to move and visit the grave of Genbu No Miko (Takiko Okuda), Tamahome is suddenly surrounded by red light and being pulled back into the world inside the book, in fact he is back in Konan Country.

Keisuke, Tetsuya and Yui soon discovered that a new Miko is summoned into the book which will erase other miko’s, including Miaka and Yui, unless of course the problem is stopped…

This is a very taboo story about incest and love between twins. Yori’s attitude has changed. Several decades in the future, an alien force known as the JAM invades Earth through a dimensional portal that suddenly appears over Antarctica. The United Nations establishes a defense force to oppose the threat and begins battling the alien invaders on a planet called “Fairy” on the other side of the dimensional portal. The main character, Rei Fukai, belongs to the Fairy Air Force (FAF), which is the mainstay of Earth’s defense. Piloting the Super Sylph “Yukikaze”, an advanced armed tactical reconnaissance plane equipped with a near-sentient AI computer system, he is part of the 5th Division, Special Air Force (SAF). The SAF is responsible for all tactical and strategic reconnaissance operations of the FAF, usually appearing where battles are the fiercest under the order “to gather as much data as possible and bring it back at all cost, even if it means abandoning allies in distress” and consequently acquiring a defamatory nickname “Grim Reaper”. When fear spreads of alien infiltration within the FAF, Yukikaze may be the last hope for humanity to end the war.

Avenger

This is an Ok anime. Nice fighting scenes.

Ar Tonelico OVA

This didn’t leave any impression to me. In short, I don’t like it. Though the characters are cute.

At a time when Orica is saddened over her inability to fulfill her role as a Lavateil, or one who can control magical powers through singing Hymns, Laina’s airship comes crashing down upon her from the sky. Both of them search for an engineer to repair his airship, meeting Cruze. In the process, Laina inadvertently teaches Orica that the key to singing a successful Hymn is to want to help others from the bottom of one’s heart.

Perseverance, hard work & a never say die attitude will really take you somewhere. This is what this series is about. With some funny humor.

HTML clipboard Graduating from the Greater Tokyo Animation Academy, the main character Ohguro Mikiko fulfills her dream of working in animation, and takes a job at an animation production company, Studio Petit. On her very first day, she goes to her place of employment with a heart full of hope. However, her superior, Oppama, nicknames her Kuromi and is suddenly taken away in an ambulance, as a result, the new person on the job, Kuromi, finds herself fully responsible for the production desk. Amongst much confusion, Kuromi uses the data left to her by Oppama to become the production runner for episode 2 of Time Journeys.

However, once she realizes what is going on, even that the production will be on time for its broadcast, is doubtful (or so she feels)! Kuromi struggles with the odd and unique personalities of the key animators. will the key animation all be completed in time?

What will you do Kuromi!? With intermingled happenings that are humorous and some that are not so funny, director Daichi Akitaroh directs an industry first anime about the Anime Industry in a very real to life manner.

Amazing Nurse Nanako

This series is about cloning. It’s quite interesting, I’m not knowledgeable about cloning so I don’t really know how it works. In this particular series, the subject always dies when she reaches the age that the original person where she was cloned died. This is what the new doctor had to find a cure.

She`s also constantly threatened with being turned into the subject of one of the doctor`s experiments, and forced to train in feats of strength and endurance. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the doctor is watched over by powerful forces in the military and the Church, both with their own mysterious goals. Where does Nanako fit into this, and why is she the subject of so much attention? Who knows.

Aim for the Ace! (1979)

Too short for me to enjoy it. But if you’re a tennis fan it’s nice to pass time.

HTML clipboard High school freshman Hiromi joins the tennis club because of her admiration for Ryuzaki. Ryuzaki is a senior, who’s the best tennis player on the team and also nicknamed “Ochōfujin”, (“Madame Butterfly”), because of her elegance on the tennis court. However, the new coach, Jin Munakata, wants the inexperienced Hiromi to play in a forthcoming tournament.

Due to this, Hiromi considers quitting tennis for good but, in the depth of her soul, she soon realizes that she loves tennis after all. She returns to the club and, under Munakata’s coaching, her talent starts to bloom.

In the end, Hiromi develops a strong emotional bond with her coach, not knowing that Munakata is risking his life because of a chronic illness.
