Those who are fired with an enthusiastic
idea and who allow it to take hold and dominate their

That’s the rule

Reggie is not fond of tucking his shirt. It’s uncomfortable, it will just come out if I move too much and it’s hard when I pee. These are all his alibis when I tried to tuck his shirt.

Tuesdays & Fridays are P.E. days. Last Friday when he came home he told me:
Reggie: Mama, teacher said that you have to tuck in your shirt when you’re wearing the PE uniform, that’s the rule.

Me: Ok, you should follow the rule, otherwise you will be in trouble.

Yesterday when he got home, he told me another rule…Mama teacher said that if you have a wallet you should put your name & class in it so that when you lose it the finder will know where to return it. So, we put a name tag on his wallet.

Today, they are going to have a photo shoot for their ez-link card or fare card. He’s not fond of smiling either. So I told him, you should smile so you will look good in your picture…I think that’s also the rule. He said, ok, ok, I know!!!

LOL…kids!!!

Somewhere Out There

Filed under: ramblings — snoopygie @ 4:02 pm

This song gives me so much nostalgia.

Every time I hear this song, it stirs up my emotions. And memories always comes rushing in…happy, sad, cute. It was, I guess 1986 – 1987 that this song was popular & being constantly played in the airwaves. It had secured a spot in my heart. This is not my favorite song, (I’m not sure if I have any)…BUT…this one is special. I was 16 when I left home to pursue my studies & live with relatives in a far away land (well, not really)…but going home on Christmas & school holidays was sometimes not possible.

Whenever I missed my family & friends back home, I always listen to this song & sometimes sing it to myself.

Somewhere Out There

written by James Horner, Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil

Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight

Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
